Saetanar is an International Non-Government Organization that works in cooperation with the Ministry for Progress of Border Areas and National Races and Development Affairs (NATALA) to carry out 'community development throught school construction' using funds from The Nippon Foundation.The name Saetanar is derived from a Myanmar word meaning ' good will' or 'thoughtfulness'.
Community Development through School Construction
Saetanar has been working to promote rural development through school construction and improvement of school facilities based on the principle that a sustained basic education is indispensable for the progress of a community. Furthermore, Saetanar is actively involved in projects to secure income that would support a continuous school operation and improve local people's lives.Click here for staff introduction
